You never forget where you're from. It's easy to get stuck somewhere you don't belong.
Robert's a chef. He's setting up on his own. But he's no celebrity - he's more like the misfits, loners and immigrants who work in his kitchens. His business partner is going cold on him; his son wants out; and his dad has turned up after 25 years away.
Why is everyone so restless? What are they looking for? And why doesn't anyone stick around any more? Three generations of men, one restaurant.
Staged in a former pizza restaurant, this is a new site-specific production from Mark Wheatley, the principal writer for Complicite on their award-winning shows The Street of Crocodiles and Three Lives of Lucie Cabroil .
An explosive and timely story of migration and belonging served up with a side order of dark comedy.
Co-produced with Mapp Ltd and by arrangement with Made in Brighton Ltd
